August 2024 Demonstration Day
The technology demonstrations in previous years were so successful that we decided to build an entire field day around the idea. Instead of a "traditional" field day with speakers and a set program, this event was a come-and-go opportunity for the public to get an up-close experience with some of the newest technologies in place at the farm. We were also fortunate to have multiple vendors and organizations who came to the farm to connect with all our participants. Our thanks to Arable Systems, Phytec, Atonomous Pivot, VandWater, Aquaspy, and the K-State Testing Agency Performance Systems (KSU-TAPS) team for joining us!

With grant support from the Kansas Water Office, the farm has one of the only 360 RAIN irrigation systems in Kansas. Participants were able to get up close to see it work.
Partners were able to discuss how the farm makes use of technologies from Arable Systems, Aquaspy, Autonomous Pivot, Greenfield Robotics, Phytec, and VandWater.
Getting to the heart of the matter is easy ... visitors could see first-hand how farm management strategies affect soil health.
