In-person and virtual training

The KCARE team organizes both in-person and virtual trainings on a variety of subjects. Upcoming trainings will be posted here and promoted through internal K-State newsletters, such as K-State Today and the KSRE Tuesday Letter. If there is a specific subject or training you'd like to see, get in touch with us!

Training Format

These training sessions can be offered as in-person or in an online format. Experts provide information, followed by panel discussion, participant Q&A, or other interactive items. Participants were encouraged to ask questions and follow up with both presenters and panelists. After the completion of the training, digital online documents are made available on this site, includingpresentation slides, extension publications and other materials relevant to each topic.

These series are offered as Professional Development Event by Natural Resources PFT and the Kansas Center for Agricultural Resources and the Environment (KCARE).

Speakers and Panelists

These trainings are possible because of the expert knowledge and wide-ranging experience of our speakers and panelists. Past presenters include KCARE watershed specialists, experts from Kansas state agencies, K-State faculty, extension specialists, county extension agents, and producers.
